This stylish and collectable pear uses a technique first invented around Venice about 1530 and is still one of the hardest techniques to master: ‘Vetro a retortoili’ or glass with a twist. The filigree twisted canes used to produce this piece are made in house from multi-coloured canes that are also made in the studio.
