Stanley Orchart
The Beaulieu Prints
Stanley Orchart (British, 1920-2005) studied at Leeds School of Art and was known for his beautiful portrayals of the English countryside in both oils and watercolour. He was in demand for commissions and Her Majesty the Queen Mother was a major patron of his work. Stanley Orchart lived in Great Staughton, Cambridgeshire, and spent most of his life working in his home county of Bedfordshire and East Anglia.
