Segrelles is known for his atmospheric beach scenes with a lovely translucence in the shallow waters
Segrelles was born in 1953 in the industrial region of Spain, just 30 miles inland from Alicante. He has for many years exhibited in galleries in Spain where his work is well established and has attracted a growing following.

He uses beautiful soft colours to capture the changing moods in nature and the atmospherics of the clouds and their formations. He lets the changes in weather dictate the changes in colour on the canvas achieving a gentle harmony which distinguishes his painting.

His work is strongly influenced by the impressionist artists such as Matisse, Monet and Turner.
