Jackie Giron

Jackie is an established ceramic artist living and working in the New Forest. She makes stunning pots and bowls from stoneware, earthenware (terracotta) and porcelain. While her smaller pieces are hand-thrown, the larger pieces tend to be coiled. Each has its own unique decoration inspired by her environment and geological features.

The ‘Beaulieu Bowls’ reflect her affection for the river and the landscapes where she grew up. The ‘Rock Pool Bowls’ are created by layering hand-poured glazes and melting glass into the centres to give a translucent luminosity.

Jackie’s passion for ceramics started at Southampton College of Art and continues to develop. She has exhibited throughout the UK and won prestigious ceramic awards.
